About Our Physician
Geetha R. Soodini, M.D. earned her medical degree from
Kakatiya Medical College, University of Health Science in
Warangal, AP, India. She completed her internship and
residency in Internal Medicine at Long Island College
Hospital Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Soodini completed a
fellowship in Clinical Research at the Joslin Diabetes
Center affiliated with the Harvard School of Medicine in
Boston, Massachusetts. She completed a second
fellowship in Endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine in
Houston, Texas.
Dr. Soodini is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She is an active member of
several professional medical organizations, including the
American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the
American Diabetes Association. She has been published
in numerous medical and scientific journals.
Prior to moving to Georgia and founding North Georgia
Diabetes and Endocrinology, P.C., Dr. Soodini served as
Locum Faculty in Endocrinology at the Overton Brooks VA
Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She resides in
Alpharetta, Georgia with her husband, son and daughter.
