Deboarah Whitehair is a board certified physician assistant who joined North Georgia Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2018. She attended Georgia Southern University, where she earned her a Bachelor and Master of Science in Biology, and attended PA school at the Medical College of Georgia. She brings many years of clinical experience in neurology, sleep medicine, primary care and urgent care. In addition to her clinical experience as a PA, she served as an assistant professor and clinical coordinator in the Emory University School of Medicine, where she participated in the didactic and clinical training of PA students and physicians in the family medicine residency program. Ms. Whitehair has published chapters in medical and surgical books, as well as articles based on her original research, and has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants since 2007. Ms. Whitehair lives with her husband and dog, and in her free time, enjoys traveling, crafts, photography and training her dog.
